Image via WikipediaThe Deped ( Department of Education ) suspends afternoon classes in the Pre-school, Elementary, and High School levels of both private and public schools in Manila today due to the typhoon "Nesat", known as local tropical storm "Pedring".College and Universities may refer to the announcement of CHED (Commission on Higher Education) or to their respective school officials regarding to the possible suspension.
Heavy rains were experienced today and by Tuesday afternoon it is expected to be 140 km west-northwest of Sinait, Ilocos Sur; and 510 km northwest of Sinait, Ilocos Sur or at 540 km west of Basco, Batanes by Wednesday afternoon.
